The Lancet Psychiatry Commission on Psychoses in Global Context is calling for applications from experts to serve as members of its Academic Advisory Board (AAB). This document provides information about the Commission, the role of the AAB, and the application process.
The Lancet Psychiatry Commission on Psychoses in Global Context
The Lancet Psychiatry Commission on Psychoses, announced in June 2021, is an international collaboration to synthesise evidence on psychoses from around the world and develop a road map for future research, practice and policy to improve the lives of people living with psychotic disorders.

Academic Advisory Board: description and roles
The AAB shall have up to 10-12 members from a range of geographical regions and disciplines, who have relevant expertise in psychoses related research, including (but not limited to) the phenomenology, epidemiology, risks and mechanisms of psychoses, systems of care and intervention, outcomes and impacts, policy, law and human rights and participatory methods. The AAB shall meet three times before the publication of the report in October 2022. However, the commission may convene additional meetings.
